Terms of service

ChorHaus is a free public beta operated by JustADestination LLC. Using it means you accept these terms. If you don't, don't use it.
2. Your account
You sign in through a third-party provider such as Google. You're responsible for what happens under your account, and for keeping access to that provider account secure. You must be at least 13, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live.
3. What you put in
You keep ownership of your photos and content. You give us the licence we need to run the service — storing your content, showing it to your housemates, and sending it to the AI providers described in the privacy policy so it can be scored. That licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except where a copy is already part of another member's ledger.
Don't upload anything unlawful, anything that infringes someone else's rights, or photographs of people who haven't agreed to be photographed.
4. Fair use
Don't try to defeat the anti-cheat, script the API, submit photographs of something you didn't do, or use the service to harass a housemate. We can suspend accounts that do.
5. Scores are opinions
Cleanliness scores are produced by an AI model and are frequently imperfect. They're a game mechanic, not a factual finding, and they carry no meaning outside the app.
6. Money
The expense ledger is a record-keeping tool. ChorHaus does not hold, transfer or process funds, and we take no position on debts between housemates. What you actually owe each other is between you. Don't rely on the ledger as your only record.
7. The Chronicle
The weekly write-up is AI-generated satire about your household's activity. It exaggerates and invents for comic effect, and is not a factual account of anyone's conduct.
8. Beta service
This is a beta. Features may change or disappear, data may be lost, and there is no uptime guarantee. Keep your own record of anything that matters to you.
9. No warranty
The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, JustADestination LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data, or disputes between housemates arising from use of the service.
11. Ending it
Stop whenever you like, and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken, or if we stop running the service.
12. Changes
We'll post material changes in the app rather than editing this page silently. Continuing to use ChorHaus after a change means you accept it.

These terms are written to be read, not to be impressive. They haven't been reviewed by a lawyer, and they aren't legal advice.
